Home / Food Label Engine
Case study · Built for a client
One recipe change shouldn't mean a call to a food-safety consultant. The Food Label Engine decides the labels itself.
Feed it a recipe, get back a print-ready label: nutrition values from cited sources, an allergen declaration, and a check against Ministry of Health thresholds that decides on its own which warning labels must appear on the packaging.
What it replaces
Getting a compliant nutrition label used to mean sending every new recipe to an outside food-safety consultant — a delay and a cost every time a bakery changed an ingredient or added a product. The Food Label Engine takes a recipe directly, pulls nutrition values from cited sources, writes the allergen declaration, and checks the result against Israeli Ministry of Health thresholds to decide, on its own, exactly which warning labels the packaging is required to carry. Adding a new product is now a matter of minutes, not a consultant call.
